The network at a glance
Not a clinic. A network.
The right therapist. Your own room.
A network that connects people with independent, licensed physical therapists who treat one-on-one in private suites inside FlexWerk at Carmel City Center. Each therapist runs their own practice; we make the introduction and make sure the fit is right.
Therapists in the network see adults from Carmel, Westfield, Fishers, Zionsville, Noblesville and north Indianapolis for back and neck pain, shoulder, hip and knee problems, running and sports injuries, balance concerns and recovery after orthopedic surgery. Every visit happens behind a closed door, with a full rack, cables and free weights in the room, so rehab can progress all the way to real strength. You do not need a referral to start: Indiana gives you 42 days of direct access.

Private by design
Rehab without an audience
A closed room, not a curtain.Every therapist in the network practises in a private suite with its own equipment, lighting and music. You can talk openly about what hurts and move without being watched.
One therapist, the whole session.Your therapist is not splitting attention across a gym floor. Every repetition is coached, and the plan changes the moment something does not feel right.
Built to load, not just stretch.A rack, a cable system, dumbbells and indoor turf mean your rehab can finish with the strength your sport, your job or your grandkids actually demand.

Cost and referrals
The two questions everyone asks
Do I need a referral?
No. Under Indiana’s direct access law a physical therapist can evaluate and treat you for up to 42 calendar days without one. If you need longer, your therapist helps you get a referral from your physician or another qualified provider. Indiana referral rules explained.
What will it cost me?
That depends on your plan and your therapist, so it is settled before you commit to anything. Tell us your insurer in the questionnaire and we only propose therapists who work with it; the therapist’s office then confirms your copay, deductible and any visit limits. Paying directly, or with HSA or FSA funds, is also an option. Physical therapy cost and insurance.

Inside FlexWerk
Discharge is not the finish line
A common reason an injury comes back is that rehab stopped when the pain did, long before the strength returned. Because the suites are inside FlexWerk, which is also home to independent personal coaches, your therapist can hand you off, with a written plan, to a coach down the hall.
Coaches are personal trainers, not clinicians. Your physical therapist decides when you are ready and tells your coach what to build and what to protect.

Is this a clinic?
No. It is a network of independent, licensed physical therapists who each run their own practice and see people one-on-one in private suites inside FlexWerk at Carmel City Center. We match you with the therapist who fits your problem, schedule and coverage. The therapist is responsible for your care; we handle the introduction. How matching works.
Do I need a referral to start physical therapy?
No. Indiana allows a physical therapist to evaluate and treat you without a referral for up to 42 calendar days. If you need care beyond that, your therapist helps you get a referral from your physician or another qualified provider. Some insurance plans still ask for one before they pay, so we flag that during matching. How direct access works in Indiana.
Will my insurance cover it?
Coverage depends on your plan and on the therapist. Tell us your plan in the questionnaire and we only propose therapists who work with it. The therapist’s office then confirms your copay, deductible and any visit limit before you book. Paying directly is also an option. See physical therapy cost and insurance.
What makes a private suite different from a typical physical therapy clinic?
Most outpatient clinics treat several people at once on a shared gym floor. Therapists in the network work behind a closed door in a private suite with its own rack, cables, dumbbells and bench, so the session is yours and nobody is watching you relearn how to squat.
Where do the appointments happen, and where do I park?
Inside FlexWerk at Carmel City Center, 885 Monon Green Blvd, Suite 120, Carmel, IN 46032, steps from the Monon Trail. Garage parking is a short walk away. Give yourself five extra minutes on your first visit to find the garage entrance. Directions and hours.
What happens when physical therapy ends?
Your therapist discharges you with a written plan. If you want to keep building strength, you can continue in the same building with an independent FlexWerk coach who picks up where the therapist left off. Coaches are personal trainers, not clinicians, and your therapist tells them what to progress and what to protect. Post-rehab strength training.
